Hi and welcome to your very first postcard! It has taken me weeks (months) to jump in and send this first newsletter. There is something daunting and nerve-wracking about sharing my thoughts in this kind of format, but I’m so excited to connect with you all alongside my weekly YouTube uploads.

Thankfully, the point of this newsletter isn’t for me to unleash all of my thoughts and feelings onto you. (Lol.) I plan on starting each postcard with a couple random thoughts and then dive into what you’re really here for- recommendations and tips for travel, entertainment, and whatever else feels relevant to share with you. I will share my latest YouTube video and I hope you will subscribe to my channel. Most of all, I hope that this makes it easier to connect with those who do watch my videos! I hope to start featuring readers/subscribers and your favorite places and recommendations, so be on the lookout for that in the near future.

I will leave it at that for now but look forward to sharing more next week. Thank you so much for being here. 💗

today’s postcard: montréal

Bonjour de Montréal, Québec! Montréal is a city known for many things; music, art, food, nightlife, and more. With a quintessential European feel, Montréal is the perfect getaway for anyone wanting to experience a unique culture in a city all its own.

  • Stop by Marché Saint Laurent for incredible espresso drinks and the best curation of souvenirs made by locals. This cafe is very central and near the Notre Dame Basilica.

  • Bagels are a must-have when in Montréal! For the iconic local favorite, head to St-Viateur Bagel, which has a few locations around the city. We also stopped by a Hinnawi Bros location and enjoyed a bagel and latte.

  • A big takeaway from our trip was that you pretty much couldn’t miss with coffee and pastries; every coffee shop we went to was incredible! Toward the top of that list was Olive et Gourmando. Their chocolate croissant was life-changing. 😍

🎶 on repeat

  • My new obsession is the Japanese girl group, XG, and their song “Is This Love” has been on repeat for weeks!

  • I pick a record to put on each morning, and I recently revisited “O” by Damien Rice and it is perfect for my sad girl hours. There are too many excellent songs on that album, but “Amie” is still a favorite.
